दोनों teams में बड़े बदलाव
ये series दोनों teams के लिए एक नई शुरुआत है। सिर्फ 10 दिन पहले ये दोनों teams T20 World Cup semi-final में आमने-सामने थीं जहां New Zealand ने South Africa को हराकर final में जगह बनाई थी।
South Africa ने इस series में 4 debutants को मौका दिया है। World Cup के बाद team rebuilding phase में है और नए players को test किया जा रहा है। ये 2028 T20 World Cup की तैयारी का पहला कदम है।
