'No doubt Rohit will work it out' - Morkel और Kotak ने Rohit Sharma का खुलकर बचाव किया
Morne Morkel and Sitanshu Kotak back Rohit Sharma ahead of Lord's decider

Morkel का जवाब
India के bowling coach Morne Morkel ने 18 July को Lord's decider से एक दिन पहले press conference में कहा:
"As I said earlier, it is hard work with a new ball up front. We've seen throughout the series that the ball is moving around. So batting up front is not easy. No doubt Rohit will work it out."
और फिर उन्होंने असली point रखा:
"He's done it in the past. His experience... and he just brings that calmness to the batting line-up. So without a doubt, no worries and concerns at all with the way he's going about things."
Morkel की बात में दम है

Kotak भी साथ खड़े
India के batting coach Sitanshu Kotak ने भी retirement की अटकलों पर सीधा जवाब दिया:
"I don't think that a player of Rohit Sharma's stature will be under pressure."
उन्होंने ये भी कहा कि वो ये नहीं मानते कि Rohit "struggling" कर रहे हैं, और उम्मीद जताई कि Lord's में एक अलग Rohit दिखेगा।
अफवाहें कहां से आईं
16 July की शाम से खबरें चलने लगीं कि Rohit Lord's ODI के बाद संन्यास ले सकते हैं। Reports में ये भी कहा गया कि selection committee 2027 World Cup के लिए उनसे आगे बढ़ चुकी है।
यहां एक बात साफ करना ज़रूरी है - Rohit ने खुद अभी तक कोई संन्यास की घोषणा नहीं की है। जो कुछ चल रहा है वो reports और अटकलें हैं।
BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia पहले ही कह चुके हैं कि Lord's उनका आखिरी match नहीं होगा।
Rohit की मौजूदा स्थिति
इस साल Rohit का ODI record अच्छा नहीं रहा - 8 innings में एक fifty। Edgbaston में 11, Cardiff में 26 off 47।
याद रहे कि Rohit अब ODI captain नहीं हैं - Shubman Gill ने अक्टूबर 2025 में captaincy संभाली थी। Rohit इस squad में सिर्फ batter हैं।
